点评：We had an amazing day of touring north Mayo and the Newport area with Ian in the spring of 2025. Ian brought to life a year of researching my husband's Irish heritage with My Ireland Family Heritage. Highly recommend both companies if you are interested in your family's history before emigrating to America. My husband's eyes welled up standing in the church where his great grandparents were married as well as properties where his ancestors were on the Griffiths valuations and cemeteries where they are buried. We have a thoroughly researched and documented Irish family history back to the mid-1600s that we can pass down to our nephews.
We ended the day with a better understanding of what life was like for James' Irish ancestors through the different centuries; what and how they survived. Ian was a wonderful guide. Would not hesitate to book tours with him again when we return to Ireland!
