I embarked on the Everest Base Camp trek via the stunning Gokyo Lakes and challenging Cho-La Pass from 13 to 30 April 2025, and it was truly the experience of a lifetime. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking—from the turquoise blue of the Gokyo Lakes to the dramatic views atop Cho-La Pass and the majestic Khumbu Glacier. Every day offered a new sense of awe.
Our itinerary was well-paced, giving us time to acclimatize while soaking in the serenity of high-altitude Himalayan villages like Namche Bazaar, Dole, and Gokyo. The sunrise over Gokyo Ri and panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho Oyu were unforgettable highlights. The crossing of Cho-La Pass added adventure and adrenaline, making the journey all the more rewarding.
A huge thanks to Brothers International for their flawless organization, expert guides Anil and Purna, and caring support team Moti and guys. Their professionalism and warmth made the trek not just safe, but deeply personal and meaningful.
Highly recommend this route for those seeking both the road less traveled and unparalleled mountain beauty. Five stars all the way!
