Great Barrier Reef的点评
点评：Australia’s Great Barrier Reef is the best place to go for families and kids. The world’s largest coral reef is located on Hamilton Island on the northeast coast of Australia.
My first activity there was to visit the Heart Reef, algae and seaweed in the shape of a heart. You only see it from a helicopter, and it is very beautiful. You can see the textured sand through the pure blue water. My tip is to ask to sit beside the pilot because you and get a front-view photo.
Another extraordinary activity is snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef. You usually see many fish, urchins, clams, coral, crabs, and seaweed. Occasionally you see jellyfish and reef sharks. If you are not comfortable going in the water by yourself, I recommend a Wild Safari Tour for all ages for thirty minutes with a guide. I did both, and I think that the tour is nicer because you see much more coral and fish.
My favorite part about the Great Barrier Reef is the Reefsleep. You get on a boat and get dropped off on a pontoon in the middle of the reef. Then until 3:00 P.M. you get to swim in the Great Barrier Reef. The boat leaves, and you stay on the pontoon. Dinner is at 6:00. Then you sleep in a tented bed. You will see stars, watch the fish fighting, and hear birds chirping. When you wake up, breakfast is served at 9:00 A.M., and you can start swimming at 10:00. Also morning tea is served at 11:00.
