点评:Saw another them under Cesky Old Town which reads similar to this track. Probably the difference is the Historic Center is more encompassing, includes the Castle & all historic sites & area.
Český Krumlov's Historic Centre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Czech Republic refers to the remarkably well-preserved medieval town famous for its Castle complex , cobblestone streets, pastel buildings, and the Vltava River winding through it. Apparently Historic Centre" is the official UNESCO designation while Old Town are used by the local & tourists in reference to the cobblestone streets & even the iconic Castle.
We had a Day Trip to the beautiful bohemian Town and the knowledgeable Local Gide helps explain the historic & development of the area. We were then given 3 hours of free time to explore on our own and also try out the local lunch.
Especially love the Castle Hills side 13th century complex with its Gothic & Renaissance influence . However it was the beautiful Old Town that we spent much time and a meal there. Not to be missed Municipal Square (Náměstí Svornosti): The heart of the old town, featuring the town hall, fountain, and plague column. At this old town’s central plaza, one will find the 16th century town hall and a plague column (1716).
With its simple beauty and wonderfully medieval feel, a visit is not to be missed.
