Bobosher Yusupov: Beware of Him and His Tours

点评：I traveled with Bobosher Yusupov, who also goes by Bob. He runs Lifetime Adventures Tour and also works as a guide for other local tour companies in Uzbekistan.
I wouldn’t travel with him again. At one point, Bobosher asked if he could use my credit card to pay money he owed to a guesthouse. He also asked me to buy a few things for him and said he would sort it out before the tour was over.
There were also problems with his car, and he asked me to contribute to the repair costs. He also asked to borrow several hundred US dollars in cash.
None of his personal expenses, which had nothing to do with my tour, were ever paid back, leaving me entirely out of pocket. As a paying client, being put in that position by my guide made me very uncomfortable.
He also made comments about my clothes and appearance. He told me he liked seeing me in jeans because they showed the shape of my legs, repeatedly asked whether I was married, and joked more than once about me marrying him. On several occasions, he put his arm around me. I did not welcome this.
Towards the end of the trip, Bobosher said he did not have enough money to pay for his own hotel room. He then brought his luggage into my room without asking. His actions made me feel pressured into sharing the room with him, and he eventually stayed in my room.
By the end of the trip, there had been too many incidents like these for me to feel comfortable with him as my guide. This was not the experience I expected when I booked a tour. I would not book with Lifetime Adventures again, and I would never use Bobosher Yusupov as a guide, even if he were working for another tour company.
