Delicious mead in a creative setting

点评：As avid visitors to Scarborough Faire, we are quire familiar with the delights of Texas Mead Works. It's a bit out of town (the bachelorette party buses still make it out) but we'll worth it for something different. The building is like a big barrel, which was fun, and they have active hummingbirds outside.
One of the couples had visited before, but my husband and I had not. We decided to split a tasting (mead is more my thing) and each had a favorite. We also bought a chocolate almond bar to enjoy with other tastings. I'm allergic to milk and all their chocolate was dairy-free!
My husband most enjoyed Dragon's Tale while I liked the Raspberry. The bartender was a delight and we learned about their expansion plans for their own Renaissance festival in Feb 2027. We may have to come back!
