点评：Wish I had seen the reviews before going. Horrible! I can’t believe management doesn’t care about the reviews because I just had a similar bad experience.
My husband and I stopped by for lunch on our way back from Asheville. I checked the website and it said no wait so I didn’t bother making a reservation cause we were 10 minutes out. The hostess was rude and rolled her eyes because we did not have a reservation. We were told 30 minute wait. I ordered a coffee and walked around the shop to wait for it. It took almost 20 minutes. I guess because I didn’t stand at the counter waiting they just skipped mine. By the time I finally got it everyone else who ordered after me was gone.
It took an hour to finally get our table and that was only because my husband got annoyed after having to ask numerous times. The first time he inquired about the excessive wait, he was speaking to the manager. She was not very gracious or apologetic.
The restaurant was infested with flies. Every table, except ours, had little fans to keep them away. The entire time we ate we had to swat off flies. Staff just walked around and ignored us. At one point, I slammed the menu against the table, trying to kill a fly. And still, no one gave a crap.
It really seemed like we were purposely being given second class treatment because we were visitors. Ironically, while we were waiting I was looking over the website to possibly plan a stay with our entire family because the grounds were beautiful and it was dog friendly. After that horrible experience I would never pay money to stay there. The food was actually good. Maybe the chefs should run the place instead.

我们等了整整一个小时才终于有桌位可用，而这还是因为我丈夫多次询问后终于不耐烦了。他第一次询问为何等待时间如此之长时，是与经理沟通的。那位经理态度冷漠，也毫无歉意。那家餐厅里到处都是苍蝇。除了我们这一桌，其他每张桌子上都放了小风扇来驱赶苍蝇。我们吃饭的整个过程中不得不不停地拍走苍蝇。服务员只是来回走动，对我们视而不见。有一次，我干脆把菜单拍在桌上，试图拍死一只苍蝇。可即便如此，依然没人理会我们。
看起来我们确实因为是游客而遭到了刻意冷落。真具有讽刺意味啊。就在我们等待的时候，我浏览了他们的网站，本想全家一起去度假的——因为那里的环境很美，而且还允许带狗入住。但经历了那次糟糕的体验后，我再也不会花钱去那儿住了。不过食物倒是不错。或许应该让厨师们来经营这家酒店才对。
