Crocodile Lake的点评
点评：We did the walk to crocodile lake with a jeep ride and guide. Nam was friendly and helpful.
It’s 5km walk to the lake and back, it’s on a man made path through the jungle, the highlights are the 400 year old tree and the lake. There is lots of amazing flora on the way with a very high canopy of trees and it got cooler the closer to the lake.
We didn’t manage to see any animals unless you count a snails shell or a few lizards, the group in front of us did see some monkeys.
It’s an easy if not hot and sweaty walk.
The rangers house at the lake can be stayed in over night and they cooked a delicious lunch for other guests (not us we had lunch packed by our hotel)
There was about 5 crocodiles (of the 700ish that live in the lake) who came up close to the lodge so we got to see them eating the local fish.
It’s very pretty, you can buy a drink and there is a toilet.
Good walk and day out.
I do recommend walking shoes, long socks which you can tuck your plants into and long sleeves. Our hotel also brushed our shoes with some kind of deer product.
It wasn’t leech season but our guide and I both manged to get one (me on my exposed arms)
