Disappointing experience
Skischule Snowboard Soell Hochsoell的点评
点评：We enrolled our 2 children and a friend’s child in the children’s ski school (red level). This was their fourth ski week. Unfortunately, none of them advanced in level after this course. All instructors appeared very young, around 18, and Phil was listed as the supervisor.
The children were supposed to have a course that included lunch, but on one day they went without because their instructor forgot to send them, or otherwise overlooked it. Phil apologized when we brought it to his attention.
Additionally, the children felt the group they were assigned to was below their level and very boring. It took me two days of persistent effort to get two of them moved into a higher group, which they enjoyed more, although it was still too easy for one of them. The third child was not moved and continued to complain, so we had to withdraw him from school two days early. The refund for this was only €6 for the entire two days, and we were told that future lunches were non-refundable.
Overall, it felt like the school did not prioritize the children’s experience. In the previous three years, our children attended other ski schools in different locations and were always happy, excited, and progressed quickly after each course.
Regarding lunch, when the kids did receive it, they generally did not enjoy it and barely ate anything, except for the first day when they received schnitzel and fries, which they liked. There were no meal choices offered.
This is the only children’s ski school in Söll that offers group lessons, so if a ski school is desired, I would recommend staying in one of the other villages in the ski area.
