点评：During my trip I ended up using Anake Tours & Services for three different things: a cross-border transfer, a rental car, and help with booking accommodation. In all cases, Andrew and his team were simply great to deal with.
It started with a transfer from Mfuwe (Zambia) to Lilongwe. The price was fair, especially for a cross-border ride, and the communication was quick and clear. From the first exchange, it just felt straightforward and professional.
Originally, I planned to rent a car elsewhere. When I found out I could also arrange this through Anake, I decided to keep it with them. By that point, the contact had already been easy and reliable, and working with a locally rooted company felt like the right choice. The car was in good condition and everything was arranged without hassle.
Finding good accommodation in Malawi turned out to be harder than I expected. Andrew helped out immediately. Within minutes he shared options from his network and helped secure some really beautiful places to stay. It saved me a lot of back-and-forth and uncertainty.
Andrew also shared that he’s opening his own Malawian-owned accommodation. If it reflects the way he runs Anake, I honestly can’t imagine it not being great. I’m looking forward to seeing it once it opens.
If you’re travelling in Malawi and want someone local who is responsive, fair and easy to work with, Andrew and his team are a very safe pair of hands.
