Fun Over 50s: A funstar tour even when you’re in your 50s.

点评：I have recently returned from the **High Country & Snowy’s in the Spring** tour.
Being in my mid 50s, I was extremely skeptical about enjoying the trip but I wanted to spend time with my sister-in-law and I had made a promise to my late husband.
To my surprise, I thoroughly enjoyed the trip! The activities we did and the accommodation were all great and the people on the tour, most seasoned Fun Over 50s travellers, were really lovely and welcoming of a ‘newbie’ to the tours.
And I couldn’t believe how much we ate!! You definitely don’t go hungry on these tours, with the dinners, especially, providing an opportunity to lash out and enjoy yummy desserts!!
And this tour wouldn’t have been as wonderful as it was, I don’t believe, if we hadn’t had the funstar tour guides of Simon and Michelle! Simon made me feel completely safe with his driving and I loved his passion for showing us little extras on the trip. Michelle was the perfect tour host, friendly and fun, and she was so calm when things didn’t go quite to plan (like a thunderstorm while doing the Illawarra Fly Treetop Adventure), finding the perfect solution for the group.
Whereas I had thought that the tour would be the one and only that I would do, I can’t wait to do another Fun Over 50s tour. Who says that you can’t be a funstar and have fun and excitement once you’re over 50? This tour affirmed for me that life continues and can still be really enjoyable after you lose someone you love!!

我原本以为这次旅行会是我唯一一次参加此类活动，但现在我已经迫不及待地想要参加下一次“50岁以上人士欢乐之旅”了。谁说过了50岁就不能享受生活，不能拥有精彩的人生呢？这次旅行让我更加确信，即使失去了挚爱之人，生活依然可以继续，依然可以充满乐趣！
