点评:We flew Jet Blue to Costa Rica in November. The flight was good. The plane was nice. The problem came on our return flight. The airport in San Juan was socked in with fog. Our flight was delayed a number of times. At 2 am. they announced the flight had been cancelled. We were given no vouchers for food or accommodations. My 80 year old husband and I slept on the floor - assuming we would get out early the next day. The next day the weather was perfect - but there was no flight scheduled. It was finally scheduled for the evening - when, once again, the airport was fogged in. This time, when Jet Blue cancelled our flight, they made us leave the airport with our bags and told us to reschedule a flight on our own! We spoke no Spanish and had no place to stay. Luckily, we met an amazing woman who was on our cancelled flight. She spoke Spanish and offered to help us. She scheduled our flight for the following day. Without her help, I don't know what we would have done! Here's the clunker! Jet Blue told us the second flight was also cancelled due to weather, but what we learned is that the pilot had already flown his required number of hours, by law, so was not allowed to fly the next day as he needed to rest. By saying that the cancellation was due to weather, Jet Blue was not responsible to find us hotel accommodations or food. They did nothing to help us get home! To add insult to injury, they charged us for our seats on the flight home ! Beware of flying with Jet Blue!
