A truly special day with Richard and William, visiting Embera village

点评：Our family of seven had the most amazing visit to the Embera village, organised by Richard and his son William. The journey itself was a highlight- comfortable, with interesting stops, and finished with a traditional boat ride that set the tone perfectly.
I’d worried the visit might feel staged, but it was the opposite. The village was spotless, welcoming, and very much a real community. From the eldest at 94 to the youngest just a year old, everyone greeted us with warmth. The dancing and music were moving, and the food served on leaves was some of the best we’ve ever eaten.
Richard is an incredible guide: knowledgeable, charismatic, and a wonderful storyteller. William, at just 20, is already following right in his footsteps. This trip was authentic, memorable, and far exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend.
