Great way to experience the real rural Oaxaca Valley!

点评：My partner and I did the three day Royal Walk in early Jan 2026 and had a great time. The scenery and flora were more interesting and spectacular than we had expected; and being in the mountains was a very welcome break after sightseeing in the cities. Right length and pace of hike each day for us (we’re in our mid thirties and like hiking).
Our guide, Mario, was very friendly, polite and knowledgeable and spoke good English.
The office was very accommodating: collecting us from our hotel 30 mins later than scheduled so that we could eat the hotel breakfast and returning us an hour later than scheduled so that we could catch a collectivo to Mazunte (which they arranged for us and reserved seats).
Food was ample; okay in terms of taste and variety.
In summary, a great way to experience the real rural Oaxaca valley.
