A Memorable Experience with Dolphins, Birds & Sea Lion Lenny

点评：We had a really nice time at Dolphin Explorer and were able to create some wonderful memories with the dolphins, exotic birds, and especially the sea lion, Lenny. It was truly fulfilling to learn new things about dolphins and even revisit some childhood dreams through this experience.
Before the dolphin interaction, there is a short training and safety video that explains how to properly interact with the dolphins. They also provide lockers, and all personal belongings must be placed inside including phones and cameras since dolphins are very sensitive. This is important to know ahead of time, as you won’t be able to take your own photos during the experience.
The encounter wasn’t perfect I did notice the animals seemed a little tired at times, and the interaction felt a bit rushed toward the end. I also understand that the photo pricing per person is quite expensive, but that’s how they make their money and keep the business running. It may be different back home in the U.S., but that’s how things operate there, so I can’t really knock their hustle.
I’m aware that animal conditions may not meet everyone’s expectations, and that’s something to keep in mind when booking. It did feel like a business at the end of the day, which may explain why the experience moved quickly and why we had to wait for the entire group before being allowed to leave.
Overall, I had a nice time and made great memories, especially fulfilling a childhood dream. Just be prepared for the structure of the experience, the photo upsells, and the group timing.
