点评:I've been to quite a few military museums around the world and this one is definitely up there in rarefied air. This was the personal collection of Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen so it's his tastes in what was obtained. And he had eclectic tastes. There are the usual U.S. and British aircraft (P-47s, Corsairs, Spitfires, Hurricanes, etc.) but there are also examples from the Soviet Union, Japan, and some German aircraft that you don't see every day. For example, how many V1's are there with cockpits for a pilot? There is also a nice selection of armor including a Japanese Type 95, something else not seen in many museums. It is a free museum, all it's lacking is a cafeteria, but there are places you can eat your own food. I wanted to leave a donation, as this museum is well worth $15-$20 but they aren't set up for it. Buy something in the gift shop instead.
