点评：Been to many of New Mexico's hot springs and this is my favorite. Just over an hour drive away from downtown, and it feels like you’re secluded in a charming mountain town. The hot springs are located next to the river (aka a babbling brook for those used to real rivers) providing the peaceful sounds of flowing water as you soak. The admission fee is just $25 per hour and it’s set up like a property pass style where you get to soak in all the pools and the wooden tub. Each has a different temperature ranging from slightly warm to very hot. Pro-tip, bring lots of water and drink it frequently otherwise you will get dehydrated! I have been going here about once a year for the past several years and the owners are always improving and upgrading this place. There is a little gift shop where you can buy some of their mineral salts to take home, a drink shop, rooms to book an overnight stay, etc. The hot springs grounds themselves are an oasis in the high desert. The beautiful gardens are well maintained and vary with the seasons. They have cute restrooms, changing rooms, showers with soap (pre-soak), lockers and chubby holes to store your stuff, and lots of loungers with shade to lay out and relax. Be sure to bring your own towel or you can buy one in the gift shop. After your soak, be sure to check out the super cute town. There’s an excellent historic saloon “Los Ojos” across the street with delicious New Mexico food, art galleries and gift shops - everything is locally owned.
