Very Expensive But Beautiful Views

点评：The views were spectacular, the facilities were lacking. The trails are not for everyone.
The ride up and down was all part of the wonderful viewing experience. Seeing how the Swiss live up a mountain side was great. The wild flowers and changing landscape was a treat.
The cogwheel train is terribly over priced and for newbie travellers the purchasing of train tickets was not straightforward - we inadvertently only bought one way, then was hit up by the train conductor with an additional 10CHF charge plus doubled the fee we already paid. The combined trip ended up costing us 130CHF.
Clearly a common experience as many other people had to pay the fees as well. Given our poor dollar exchange just the trip up and back cost us $250+ Canadian. And he was not very pleasant either.
It was a beautiful view but be careful on the train tickets.
