点评:What a difference made by just "a matter of few minutes" was seeing the view below just upon arrival on one side of the big "Brasov sign" then the view totally disappearing when arrived on the far side of the sign (where the "viewing platform" is), but yes it was really worth a wait for like "almost an hour" for the fog to clear for a "pretty amazing" view from the colorful buildings of the Old Town area right below stretching to "some distance" and where to the right is a little distant view of likely the modern part of the city with some moderate-height high-rises.
From my place in the Old Town and near the "city-center square", it was just like a 5-to-10-minute walk to the base of the Mountain (although a little tricky to find the "street opening" leading to that base among that long row of heritage buildings) with some stretch of the old city wall & a few watchtowers to go past to the "bottom cable car" station from which it was just about a 5-minute ride to the top followed by about a 10-minute walk along some forest-like trail to the sign/platform area (although with the wait for about half an hour at the "top station" during the pouring rain upon arrival and also with that forest trail turning a bit muddy so having had to be careful when going down a "little-slope section" along the trail but with a rail to hold on so not a tough walk I would say).
