Military Aviation Museum的点评
点评：On a bright and breezy Wednesday, at the tail end of April, my husband and I paid the " seniors" admission price of $15.00 each and visited the Military Aviation Museum of Virginia. There are guided tours led by volunteers/armed services veterans leaving every hour from the gift shop area. We looked around among the exhibits and waited the few minutes before the guided tour started.
Our tour was led by an energetic, retired Army Lieutenant from PA. For a little over 90 minutes, Warren gave us a humorous running commentary of interesting historical facts and stories, spanning the early 1900's through the end of World War II.
Our whole tour group, comprised mostly of couples, paid rapt attention to Warren's detailed presentation.
This tour is highly recommended to all- especially if you have an interest or curiosity in old airplanes, the World Wars and/ or spending a pleasant few hours doing something you don't usually make time for.
