Incredible Experience hiking the Inca Trail with Llama Path!

点评：We had an absolutely amazing experience with Llama Path, and the Inca Trail was truly unforgettable! From start to finish, the entire team went above and beyond to make the trek such a special and memorable experience.
A special thank you to our guide, Yu Ben, who was incredibly patient, helpful, and knowledgeable. His extensive knowledge of the Andes and the Incans, its history, and its culture really brought the experience to life. He was always happy to answer questions, offer encouragement, and make sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying themselves throughout the trek. We couldn't have asked for a better guide!
The food was another highlight and far exceeded anything we thought would be possible on a trek like this! Chef Santos did an incredible job preparing fresh, varied, and delicious meals throughout the journey. He was also so friendly and welcoming, and we were genuinely amazed by the quality and variety of the food, especially given the conditions and remote locations. It made every meal something to look forward to.
The porters were truly inspirational and an essential part of what made this experience so special. They were always friendly, helpful, and encouraging, clapping for us at each stop and constantly showing their support. Watching them carry such heavy loads while still making sure we were having a great time was incredibly humbling. A special mention to Concepción, the head porter, whose organisation and attention to detail helped everything run smoothly and ensured the whole team could focus on enjoying the trek. The dedication, hard work, and care shown by the entire porter team were genuinely inspiring, and they deserve so much credit for making this experience possible.
We were also really impressed by Llama Path's commitment to its team and to sustainable tourism. The company's efforts to provide porters with appropriate clothing, accommodation, and support demonstrate a real appreciation for the people who make these treks possible. It's wonderful to see a company that cares about both the experience of its guests and the well-being of its staff.
My only feedback that I hope can be addressed is for the organisers / llama path office team - the trek briefing was not held till 7:30 pm the night before the trek, which is not acceptable given the early start the following morning, whilst if someone has missed something from the packing list then this leaves no time to go and action this. Please hold these briefings earlier in the day, even if there needs to be a 'pre-briefing' without the guide hosted by someone else from the office earlier in the day. It would also be helpful if the brochure we received at the briefing could be sent to us earlier as a PDF via email so that we can make sure we have everything we need.
Overall, this was an incredible adventure that we will remember for the rest of our lives. The scenery and the Inca Trail itself were breathtaking, but it was the people who truly made the experience exceptional. A huge thank you to Yu Ben, Santos, Concepción, all the porters, and the entire Llama Path team. We would wholeheartedly recommend Llama Path to anyone considering the Inca Trail!
