点评：We had an incredible trip to Egypt in September last year. We were so lucky that two of our guides were Ahmed and Mahmoud, who we absolutely loved. Both were exceptionally knowledgeable, proud of their country and its history, and endlessly patient with our constant questions and quirks.
They tailored each day’s activities to suit our interests and wants, which made the experience feel personal rather than scripted. We spent long days together—often 8 to 12 hours—so it really mattered that we got along, and they were a pleasure to be with throughout. They were engaging, attentive, fun and shared our humour – which was especially important on an 8 hour overnight drive to Siwa in tight quarters!
We always felt safe and looked after during the trip, which made a big difference as two female travellers. They also did an excellent job of keeping the never-ending stream of spruikers at bay, which made sightseeing far more enjoyable.
The planning phase involved what felt like an endless stream of emails, and Mahmoud was consistently patient, responsive, and accommodating of our needs and changes.
Overall, the care, professionalism, and genuine warmth, care and engagement of our guides made this a truly memorable experience.
