点评:Sibelius Museum is named after Jean Sibelius, Finnish national composer. This museum is the must attraction for everybody who loves his music. However, this museum is surprisingly good for everybody else, too.
They have a great collection of interesting old instruments downstairs, e.g. organs and a square piano from 1824. You even may play some of them. I especially loved playing Theremin, the Ether Wave Instrument. Its functionality is based on the human body's capability of storing an electrical charge. The movement of hands near the instrument is used to produce musical sounds. So the instrument itself is not touched while playing it.
The old keyed monochord was extremely interesting and beautiful. It is a hybrid between a bowed string instrument and a keyboard. The right hand moves a bow across the string while the left hand presses the keys on the keyboard.
