点评:What a unique experience! Chef Cyril (who was very personable, fun and extremely knowledgeable) met us at the market where we picked out and purchased the vegetables, cheeses and meats that we would prepare and cook. (There were 8 people in the class.) He was very patient in explaining why you choose certain foods and what works well with each other. As the plan was to have scallops and I am allergic to shellfish, Chef Cyril made a separate but excellent salad for me.
I learned so much that day From how to properly hold certain knives to the best way to cut and chop garlic. (I never knew you removed the middle so you don’t smell like garlic for hours!) There were so many interesting instructions that I know I will continue to use as they make so much sense in why you do things a certain way.
Even when we sat down to eat this lovely meal that we had all helped to prepare, our view was incredible as we were overlooking the Seine River.
