Great diving in Watamu Kenya

点评：We stayed at Ocean Sports in Watamu and Aqua Ventures office and dive centre is based on site, we are not experienced divers and hadn't dived for a while but wanted to go as there is a marine reserve around the reefs in Watamu and we had heard great things. Steve (business owner) kindly suggested a pre-dive refresher with one of his PADI instructors in the hotel pool free of charge so we could brush up on everything and be confident and safe when we dived. This was invaluable and we were so pleased that we did it.
We ended up diving three times and got to know Steve and his friendly crew well, the whole team are so helpful, extremely thorough, and very safety conscious. Our maximum group size was 4 plus dive master and the dive master was incredibly attentive and aware throughout. Steve made sure that we were just 2 on 1 for our first dive and sent his senior instructor with us which made for such a great reintroduction and confidence booster. The equipment is all in great condition, meticulously organised and very clean and the team are on hand to help from set-up, to briefing, to the dive itself. The boat comes to the beach right by the hotel and the guys even carry your tanks for you! It could not have been a better experience!
The diving we experienced was amazing, good visibility, healthy colourful coral reefs and loads and loads of beautiful marine life!!
