A long awaited visit.
利物浦大教堂的点评
点评：For years whilst in employment, I would see the cathedral on the skyline in the approach to the city from the Wavertree / Edge Hill area, but never had the time to actually go there until late last month.
It is walkable from Lime Street station, but we chose a taxi who showed us where the other cathedral is for later in the day.
Until you are actually there, you don't appreciate how big it is not only on the outside but also inside.
It's free entry, with visitors encouraged to make a donation for it's upkeep and more.
We picked up the latest pamphlet guide, showing where we could go within and there are plenty of volunteers on hand ready to answer questions.
We didn't go up the viewing tower on this occasion.
There are so many rooms and other things, you can easily lose a couple of hours here.
