点评:We kept one full day for activities in Kullu Valley & Parvati Valley. We reached Bhunter around 9am for River Rafting downstream Beas River. Then we visited Kasol and have lunch there. Finally, we were at Gurdwara and Shiva Temple in Manikaran. The road to Kasol and Manikaran were in bad shape due to damage done during rainy season last year. Manikaran town was not neat & clean. Being a religious town, one expects it to be clean & tidy. But unfortunately, roads and streets were in bad shape there. The place is famous for its natural boiling hot springs and has spiritual significance for both Sikhs and Hindus. One can see that the daily community meal (Langar) is being cooked in hot spring water here. Devotees boils Rice in small potli bag in hot springs for around 20 minutes & consume it as Prasad there. One can bath there in separate men & women bath halls. Free Langer food is offered 24 hrs here. It is located about 5 km from Kasol, 40 km from Kullu, and 87 km from Manali.
