unforgettable amazing time

点评：We did the 3 days/2nights jungle Trek and had an absolutely amazing experience with Orangutan Explore and can wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone visiting Bukit Lawang.
From the first contact, everything was organised perfectly. Communication was always quick, friendly, and helpful, making us feel well taken care of before we even arrived. Transfers, accommodation, and the entire tour ran smoothly, so we could simply enjoy the experience.
Our guide, Nico, was fantastic. He shared so much knowledge about the jungle, the wildlife, and the local environment while always making the trek fun and relaxed. Together with the rest of the team, he made us feel safe, welcome, and incredibly well looked after. The food during the trek was delicious, and there was always more than enough for everyone.
Seeing orangutans in their natural habitat, along with several other monkey species, was an unforgettable experience. What impressed us even more was the team’s genuine commitment to ethical tourism. The animals were always treated with respect, no feeding was allowed, and every piece of rubbish was taken back out of the jungle. It was reassuring to know we were experiencing this beautiful place in a responsible way.
The cooking class we books spontaneous after the jungle trek was another highlight of our trip. We expected a regular cooking class, but it turned out to be a very personal experience. After visiting the local market, we were welcomed into our host’s own home, surrounded by beautiful rice fields, where we cooked traditional Indonesian dishes together. It felt incredibly authentic and special to be invited into her home rather than a commercial kitchen. We learned so much, had a lot of fun, and enjoyed an unforgettable meal together.
Thank you to Nico and the whole Orangutan Explore team for giving us memories that will stay with us forever. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would recommend both the jungle trek and the cooking class to anyone visiting Bukit Lawang.

在丛林徒步之后，我们临时报名了烹饪课，这亦是我们此行的一大亮点。原本我们只以为会是一堂普通的烹饪课，结果却变成了一次极为贴心的个人体验。参观完当地市场后，我们受到主人热情招待，来到了她那被美丽稻田环绕的家中。在那里，我们一起烹饪了传统的印度尼西亚菜肴。能够被邀请到她家里而非商业厨房体验烹饪，这种感觉真的非常真实且特别。我们不仅学到了很多，还乐在其中，共同享用了一顿令人难忘的美餐。
