Uros Floating Islands的点评
点评：Visiting these islands were a childhood dream for me and going there, despite the obvious touristic aspect of it all, was once in a life time experience for me.
We visited the islands as part of our Belmond train trip. When we landed in one of the islands, we convened in the middle of the island first and were given a briefing about this history of Uros islands. Then we visited huts on the islands that were told to be the actual houses of the locals. Solar energy panels, pots, chickens all around created a feeling of authenticity but of course, I am not sure whether they really lived there or not. I hope not, the conditions are really dire there. The handcrafted textiles sold by the locals were really very beautiful too.
I really loved being there and enjoyed every second spent on this childhood dream place of mine.
