Climb to the top of the dormant volcano. A once in a life time experience.

点评：It’s a tough climb to the peak of the volcano. I didn’t count but there’s many steps and sometimes a bit steep. It’s tough regardless how old you are. I watched high school students on a field trip struggling and be out of breath as well as people of all ages.
Make sure to dress appropriately as your body will generate much heat. Recommend wear shorts and light clothing and a hat. Bring drink. Like Gatorade. There is a little shop about 10% of the way up. The reward is a great view in 360 degrees and an impressive view of the canopy of trees inside the volcano. Going down is much more refreshing but still hard on the knees and legs. Personally I had to rest quite often but making it to the top is quite an achievement.
If you go to Jeju Island it’s a must do. Getting there by car or public bus takes a while. Took us about 1 1/2 hours of express bus from the Jeju Intercity Bus Station. On the way to the park there are some pretty good restaurants selling local foods. Believe it or not this little tourist paradise isn’t overpriced. Restaurant prices were normally priced and offered high quality food. Don’t forget to bring a good camera as there are many photo ops.
