点评:This bike trail extends from the start of 30A in Inlet Beach to the end of 30A and Dune Allen. It can be very busy during peak breaks and also can be very interrupted by construction crews working on both private and public improvements. It’s incredible that this path is so highly valued by the communities it passes through yet in many areas it is in such poor condition with neglected repairs and uneven asphalt. At the time of this review(2/1/24) the Deer lake bridge on 30A is completely closed which makes it a very difficult/impossible ride to use the entire trail from Rosemary Beach to anywhere west on the trail. We did find an alternative route which involves riding into the DEER LAKE STATE PARK, paying the biking fee of $2, walking your bike on the board walk and then approximately another 1/2 mile to the public beach ramp and then back to the trail on 30A. So if you want a little “cross training” and would appreciate the gorgeous views of the dunes and the ocean, and don’t mind walking your bike on the sand, this could be a much safer route than riding on 98!
