点评：Outstanding day on the reef, exceptional crew, captain and service
My 10-year-old son and I (Noah & Matt) chartered with Reef Runner from Cairns, and it was the highlight of our trip. We arrived during the trade winds, when the sea is rough and reef fishing is difficult. Lucy handled our booking and worked with us over five days, keeping in regular contact and watching the marine forecast for a window. She was honest and candid, and wouldn't compromise safety or the quality of the day just to take a booking. The winds only eased on our final day, so we got a half day instead of a full one, and it was still fantastic. She even arranged to pick us up from our island accommodation.
Lucy also organised the catering, asking about dietary needs beforehand. We got warm croissants, fruit platters, snacks and plenty of fresh sandwiches, all delicious.
The two deckhands were brilliant. When my son hooked big reef fish, they asked what he needed and helped where required, but let him fight his own fish. He felt like he was mixing it with the big boys. They shared plenty of knowledge on species, baits and techniques, and guided us without ever being condescending to newbies.
Captain Dan is a top bloke and a true professional. He gave a clear plan and safety briefing, and answered every question with humour and experience. Reef Runner also does diving and research for the marine park authorities, so his knowledge of the reef and its future is impressive, and he was great with my son.
The crew knew exactly where to fish and when to move on. Every stop produced great catches across a wide variety of species, and we both landed our target species.
Highly recommended for skill, safety and value. We can't wait to return for a full day.

船员们清楚地知道该在哪里钓鱼以及何时转移位置。每到一个钓点都能钓到各种各样的鱼，我们俩也都成功捕获了各自想要的目标鱼种。
无论从技巧、安全性还是性价比来看都值得极力推荐。我们已经迫不及待想再来体验一整天的垂钓之旅了。
