after about a year of communicating with you, I can only express my gratitude for the consistently fair, clear, and pleasant communication with Trek Balkan (TK). It was a very positive experience to see a young company, largely unknown in Germany, run and managed in such a professional manner. The information you provided was exemplary and essential to our decision to book the tour with TK.
Regarding the accommodations and meals, I can say that there was a wonderful range of different qualities and experiences. This is exactly how it should be, offering a cross-section of the various regions, traditions, and local specialities. In this respect, it was also a unique experience for my family, some of whom had never encountered such diversity before.
What truly made the week special, however, was the tour guide you assigned to us. He was an absolute asset at all times and, alongside the breathtaking scenery, the highlight of our trekking week. Even though it was my first time doing a project like this with a guide, it's hard to imagine a better leader with such empathy, competence, and warmth. His unique way of giving clear instructions with gentle language, as well as his willingness to find viable solutions even in difficult situations seems unparalleled. Furthermore, it was a pleasure to learn about the region and its inhabitants from him in such a well-balanced way, sensing his local pride without being manipulative or intrusive.
These few words can hardly describe what we experienced thanks to your fantastic organisation and excellent execution. We will cherish this experience for a very long time and hold onto the personal encounters in our hearts. We will definitely recommend Trek Balkan as the top choice for first-class trekking in the Balkans and wish you, your team, and your family all the best and continued success – you more than deserve it!
