Museo Caja Granada Memoria de Andalucia的点评
点评：There are few reviews on this museum but if you have the time and patience, it's really one of the best ways to read up and develop a deeper understanding on the long and varied history of Andalucia. The museum is located with the Caja Grandad museum located next to the Parque de las Sciencias. As other reviewers noted, the entrance to the museum is a little hard to find, but not overly so.
As it turned out, I was the only visitor (other than a school group), so I had the museum to myself. A staff member provided a quick summary on use of the interactive exhibits, a summary of each sala, and she also made sure to point out the most interesting salas. Others have noted that the interactive exhibits are fairly high-level, and I concur. I wouldn't spend a lot of time on these as they seem best suited for high-level educational purposes that engage school-age visitors. There are models throughout the salas and these are also interesting as they provide visual/spatial representations.
The real meat of the museum is in the historical timelines which are highly detailed. I was going to buy a book on Andalucian but found these to be of more immediate value. If you have enjoyed the Museo Arqueológico Nacional in Madrid, this is a great supplement to the history of the communidad of Andalucia. Kudos to the staff for the deep research!!
And take time to enjoy the exterior central space, which is a stunning piece of modernism, reminiscent of the Frank Lloyd Wright design for the NY Guggenheim Museum.
