点评：The Warehouse Six Tour at Tomatin Distillery was one of the most fun and memorable experiences of our trip to Scotland!
Our guide, Barbara, was absolutely phenomenal. She explained whisky production at both a beginner and expert level, so whether you know nothing about spirits or already love whisky, you’ll learn a tremendous amount. Her knowledge and enthusiasm made the entire tour engaging from start to finish.
We were able to see the entire distillery, including standing inside a mash tun and watching every stage of production. One surprisingly fascinating detail was even seeing how they remove rocks from the barley before processing. It truly felt like a behind-the-scenes experience rather than a standard tourist tour.
What made the experience especially special was the friendliness of the staff. It honestly felt like we met every employee there by name! Workers would briefly stop what they were doing just to smile and say hello, which made the distillery feel incredibly welcoming and personal.
The highlight for both of us was drawing our own whisky samples directly from four different casks on the second floor of Warehouse Six. Using the wooden hammer to pop out the cask bung was satisfying enough, but using the copper dog to pull up the whisky — complete with the wonderfully satisfying “glug” sound — was unforgettable.
One important note: drinking and driving laws in Scotland are taken very seriously, and penalties are severe. If you’re the designated driver, expect to take your whisky home instead of drinking it there. And when they say “samples,” don’t expect tiny pours — the amounts you get are incredibly generous.

重要提示：苏格兰对酒后驾车的法律非常严格，处罚也很严厉。如果你是指定驾驶员，那就做好把威士忌带回家而不是在现场喝掉的准备吧。还有，他们说的“品尝”可不是小份的——你得到的量非常慷慨。
