First cruise to Norway
Olden的点评
点评：We embarked on our first cruise 🚢 with P&O Iona , a little trepidatious but we went ready to enjoy it.
The ship we couldn't fault, great restaurants, nice cabin with everything we could want, clean, staff were brilliant and never seemed to stop working. We fist stopped in Stavanger, which was lovely and we spent the day walking around, Norway is so clean, expensive but we knew it would be and everyone was kind and polite. Then onto Olden, stunning scenery, what a beautiful country, we will definitely return but on a smaller ship that can get access to the Fjords better. Iona is so big it cannot get into the smaller harbours. Then to Alesund, again another pretty town . We missed our last port due to bad weather.
We enjoyed our time but won't travel again with P&O , we aren't judgy but there was a very mixed crowd on board. From older people who dressed for dinner, ladies in lovely dresses and men in dinner jackets but then there were the Crocs, hoodies and baseball cap crowd who completely ignored the dress codes of the restaurants, rampaged around the buffet restaurants ( where we didn't eat) kids throwing food and the poor staff just waiting to clear up after them . It was a shame. But you get what you pay for l think, at £800 per week, per person cheaper than an all inclusive in Benidorm.
As someone described it, 'Wetherspoons at Sea' .

我们很享受这次旅行，但以后不会再选择P&O邮轮公司了。我们并非有意评判，只是觉得船上的乘客素质参差不齐。从盛装出席晚宴的老年人，穿着漂亮裙子的女士和穿着晚礼服的男士，到穿着洞洞鞋、连帽衫和棒球帽的人群，他们完全无视餐厅的着装要求，在自助餐厅（我们没在那里用餐）里横冲直撞，孩子们乱扔食物，可怜的工作人员只能等着收拾残局。真是令人失望。不过，一分钱一分货，我觉得这样也好，每人每周800英镑，比贝尼多姆的全包式酒店便宜。
正如有人形容的那样，“海上酒吧”。
但我们一定会重返挪威🇳🇴🇳🇴
