点评:This summer, I visited all the venues of the Burma Railway Centre in Kanchanaburi, Thailand. First, we paid a visit to several museums where there were many artefacts and photographs. One of the museums was just in front of the graveyard where the workers were buried. There weren’t any queues, and it was also really affordable. After looking at the exhibitions, you can go outside one of the centres and take the stairs to a location where you can see where they built the Burma Railway during WW2. The nature was very beautiful, but it felt really weird to be standing on the ground where hundreds of workers had suffered. It was genuinely like you could feel the horrors they had to go through. I really recommend visiting all the venues, because it’s so intriguing and gives you such a clear vision about the horrible event.
