Epic 5-Day Safari with the best driver, George!
Flexivel Kenya Safaris的点评
点评：It was my first time visiting Kenya and I have no regrets! When making plans from halfway around the world in California, it's really hard to know which safari company to choose, who one will have good drivers, comfortable vehicles, knowledge guides and give you the most for your money. We received 5-6 different quotes from various safari groups and finally decided to go with Flexivel and we were not disappointed!
Flexivel delivered on every promise made and was worth the money we paid.
We only had 12 days in Kenya and wanted to see Amboseli National Park, Maasai Mara, drive through the Rift Valley and spend some time in Nairobi before coming home. We went for a 5-day safari package that included it all.
We took a train from Mombasa to Amboseli National Park, then flew out of Amboseli National Park directly into Maasai Mara National Park and finally drove back to Nairobi through the Rift Valley.
Our itinerary had a lot of moving parts, a train, a plain, game drives and two National Parks, but Flexivel made it seamless.
The coordination between drivers for pick up and drop off between points, was flawless. Every driver came on time and dropped off on time so we didnt miss our flight or train. We were given the name of drivers and their phone numbers ahead of time. Plane, train and park entrance tickets were bought ahead of time and confirmed, we didn't have to think about any of that because it was all arranged ahead of time.
We used WhatsApp to coordinate and communicate with Flexivel and their team. Their responses to all my questions before I left the U.S. and while I was in Kenya, were always timely and thorough. They made every effort to work with us. They never said "no, we can't do that," they always said, "let's see what we can do."
While in Kenya, we decided we wanted to do a day trip to Tsavo East National Park, I asked Flexivel if they coule help us and within a few hours a tour and driver were organized for us.
Our safari driver, George, was the best driver you could ask for. He is the head driver for Flexivel for a reason and has been a tour guide for 25 years. He was always on time, polite, considerate and enthusiastic. His Land Cruiser was always clean, comfortable and in good working condition at all times.
He was very knowledgeable about the parks and animals and everyone seemed to know him! He made sure we saw The Big 5 (minus the leopard) and many, many more animals and attractions of the park we weren't expecting! Every request to stop and see something or to go somewhere was always met with an, "Absolutely!" I can't recommend George highly enough, not just because he's a great driver and tour guide, but because he is a good man. He even stopped on our game drive to help another driver whose vehicle had broken down and he was able to fix the problem!
All in all, if it's your first time to Kenya and you're overwhelmed by all the safari tours to choose from, Flexivel is a safe bet. Great communication, flawless coordination, epic sights to make memories of a lifetime, good value for your money and ...they have George!
