The Brothers Marco are Sicilian Aloha

点评：I came back to Cefalù after visiting last September and noticing the fantastic beach, point and reef setups. Being a lifelong surfer from Southern California who spends a lot of time surfing in Hawaii, I was eager to finally get in the water here.
I found Piranha Surf and the two brothers who run it — amazingly, both named Marco — and these guys are the real deal. Excellent watermen, great surfers and just genuinely great guys. They have a surprisingly good selection of surf craft: SUPs, soft tops, eggs, mini mals and high-performance fiberglass boards, so there’s something for pretty much every level and condition.
And apparently the heavens smiled on me. I happened to hit what the guys said was the best day they’d had in about a month — a solid, semi-long-period swell lighting up the beach and reefs. I surfed my brains out for about 2½ hours with the boys and had an absolute blast.
These guys live and breathe the ocean — surfing, diving, fishing and hunting — and hanging out and surfing with them honestly made me feel like I was back home in Hawaii.
Highly recommend stopping in and meeting the Marco brothers if you want to surf or SUP while you’re in Cefalù. Great equipment, great local knowledge and, most importantly, great people.
The photos are of the older Marco ripping on his orange board. Funny enough, I took these before I even met them — I was just walking by one morning, saw this guy tearing apart the sandbar and started shooting. Turns out it was Marco!

如果你在切法卢想要冲浪或玩桨板，我强烈推荐去结识一下马可兄弟。他们的装备一流，对当地情况也了如指掌，最重要的是，他们都是非常不错的人。
照片里是年长些的那个马可，他正骑着那块橙色的冲浪板呢。有趣的是，这些照片其实是我还没见到他们之前拍的——某天早上我刚好路过而已。我看到有个人在破坏沙洲，于是开始射击。结果那个人竟是马可！
