Excellent tour! Knowledgeable, many quetzal sightings, best quality spotting scope, great explanation of pre-montane biotope!

点评：The Quetzals tour with Carlos was magnificent!
His enthousiasm about nature in general, about birds specifically and quetzals in particular is highly contagious, and the energy he put into the tour with us was just magnificent!
He took us to a sector of private land, where we roamed trails, whilst he was listening for quetzals, in locations where he knows very well they often can be found. Soon enough, he recognized their wing flutter and call sounds, and shortly thereafter they started showing themselves. what started out with a singular faraway spotting, soon became a grand coming together of a multitude of quetzals : female, males, variety of plumage, seated, eating, flying.
Carlos is always excitedly jumping around when he spots them, and thus soon finds the ideal angle to place his telescope to get a clear view. Carlos carries the highest quality scope we've seen, the best scope in our 5 visits to national parks. Huge aperture resulting in great illumination, and a splendid magnification.
Carlos also offers general birding trips, and pre-montane tours, of variable durations.
Speaks English very well, has broad knowledge of the local biotope including plants, and douces it all with a good dosis of humos.
