点评：ere are experiences you enjoy… and then there are moments that stay with you. Visiting the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust last Saturday was firmly the latter.
From the second we arrived, there was this quiet sense that what you’re witnessing is something truly special. Seeing these young elephants — each with their own story, many having faced heartbreaking starts in life — now safe, cared for, and thriving, was incredibly moving.
The keepers were nothing short of extraordinary. The bond they share with the elephants is so natural and full of trust, you can’t help but feel emotional watching it unfold. You quickly realise this isn’t just a place you visit — it’s a place doing real, meaningful work.
Watching the elephants charge in for their milk, play in the mud, and interact with each other was pure joy. There’s something grounding about it — simple, honest, and unforgettable.
