点评:My sister moved to Kisumu, Kenya this year and told us about the elephant and rhino orphanage she visited. When we planned our trip to visit her we put the baby elephants at the top of our must-do list. It was amazing, even though we didn’t manage to book a private group as she had. We went to the daily 11-12 feeding. The staff were friendly and informative. The crowd was probably about average in size and I got myself close enough to the rope fence to be able to scratch an ear, pat a backside and touch the wrinkly, hard skin of the small elephants. I thought I’d never wash my hand again. To think I’d made contact with an animal who would one day roam wild and grow huge was unbelievable. I’m so glad we made it to this place and I would definitely support their mission as best I can.
