点评：The Gatekeepers Museum in Tahoe City has a long official name - California State Parks Truckee River Outlet - William Layton Steinbach Indian Basket & Gatekeepers Museum! I spent about an hour here while renting a bike from the nearby Willard's Sports Shop. The museum was not open (early in the morning); no matter. I walked around the State Park complex, and I found the dam at the outlet of Lake Tahoe (start of Truckee River) to be quite interesting. It is a beautiful structure and there is a panoply of historical boards on the dam walk. Additionally, one could walk out to the shores of Lake Tahoe behind the museum. The walk around the museum building is lovely too. The Gatekeepers Museum is certainly worth a stop if one is visiting Tahoe City. One can learn quite a bit about Tahoe area history.
