点评:Unfortunately we were disappointed with the overall expreience. The highlight was the Meerkats and Giraffes where we took some great photos. The disappointments were the Chipanzees (they walked away to an secluded area that we could not view them), the Cheetah (not visable), the lions (bus could not stop to take a photo), the Elephants (most out of view) and the Ostriches (we saw one 100mm away).
The area was essentially a dust bowl with no green vegetation - why not sink a bore and grow some grasses?
We enjoyed the bus drivers and volunteers but the pre-recorded messaging on how Australia is the top country for wiping out species was over the top and i would like to check the facts.
Finally the food and drinks were over-priced and we were the captive audience.
For $50 entrance fee, being driven around a dust bowl with very few animals to see i can only rate this as ok-ish at best. Australia Zoo in QLD leaves this place way behind. Apologies if i come across too negative.
