点评:This was one of the worst place experiences we have ever had. We had called the day before multiple times for a reservation but we were not answered. When we arrived, we waited outside for a considerably long time with nobody to seat us. There were no customers inside. We wanted to sit at a window circular desk, but the 2 were already reserved, so we opted for another. However we were constantly asked to be moved to another rectangular desk, as it was “more suited for our serving size because we were smaller group”, but that made no sense to us as the table was larger. Of course we understand the reservations, but the table we originally wanted to sit at was not reserved, a 4 seater, and there was nobody there. Then we wanted to order, and the waiter told us to wait as she went to serve another table, the only other table inside, even though we had ordered and been seated first. We then waited for another 10 minutes.
We also wanted to have a more simple lunch, but they were constantly persuading us to order their tasting menu, which we found quite irritating. They also told us that my daughter who is only 3 years old was not able to eat her own pasta, and went to consult the manager. We explained that she was allergic to almost everything and food in restaurants, and yet they kept insisting that they had something she was able to eat. So in the end, we were forced to leave.
Overall, this was our trip to New Zealand’s worst experience.
