Northlandz Miniature Wonderland的点评
点评：We took our 2 granchildren, 11 & 6 on a Tuesday afternoon. What a great place! So many railroad displays and so much to look at! The kids thoroughly enjoyed wandering along the mile of walkways, trying to find the objects on the "treasure hunt". There were so many trains running on the tracks and various interactive buttons to push. Photos do not do this place justice, you have to see it to believe the enormity and scale of the displays and scapes.
Our 6 yr old was just about able to see over most of the viewing areas, so if going with younger children, you may want to bring a little folding stepstool with although many of the areas have ledges to stand on.
Also worth seeing is the magnificent dollhouse filled with completely decorated rooms, the various collections of trains, military memorabilia, dolls and toys.
I'm so glad we disregarded some of the negative reviews and took our grands for this outing. Yes, some of the upper level displays, tracks and trains need refurbishment and updates, but there's more than enough to keep the group of us entertained for
2 12 hours.
The whole place was clean & neat with new flooring and very clean restrooms. The room for parties was large and very pretty and looked like a great venue for birthdays, etc. There is complimentary coffee in the entrance/gift shop area.
