An Amazing Safari Experience Led by an Outstanding Guide

点评：I recently completed a 7-day safari trip that started with pickup in Kigali and continued with all activities across Uganda, and overall it was a fantastic experience. From start to finish, everything was well organised, all excursions were properly registered, and the itinerary flowed smoothly.
What truly made this trip special was our guide, Smith (the man). We were lucky enough to have the best guide we could have hoped for — he welcomed us with the biggest smile and an incredible level of energy from day one, and he maintained that enthusiasm throughout the entire trip. He genuinely understood that what made us happy was adventure and spontaneity, and he adapted to our plans whenever needed, which made the experience feel personal and flexible rather than rigid.
The places we visited were beautiful, and while the excursions themselves were fairly simple, they were well run and enjoyable. The hotels selected were good overall, with some absolutely stunning locations — in particular, the accommodation overlooking Lake Bunyonyi, which had truly incredible views. Several of the restaurants we visited also served very good food, and everywhere we went, the staff were friendly and welcoming.
As a small point for improvement, we are very active and adventurous travelers, and we felt that some days could have included more activities. While I’m sure some families or travelers would appreciate downtime, we personally prefer full days with things planned and always having something on the agenda. I think it would be helpful to ensure that days are fully filled when that request is made in advance.
That said, this was still an excellent safari experience, and one we would happily recommend. Overall, I would rate this trip a 5 out of 5.
