Miami Improv Comedy Club and Dinner Theater的点评
点评：We are regulars at the Miami and Dania Improv. We enjoyed 2 of 3 comedians this weekend.
The headliner was awesome. We only had a bottle of which covered the 2 drinks minimum for 2 people.
It appears that the Improv has gone paperless and no longer brings a paper receipt so you can see the breakdown of your total.
What I didn’t like was the waitress brought a handheld credit card reader to the table only showing my total and not the receipt breakdown.
I asked to see the receipt and a 18% gratuity was already added.
When I put my card in the machine it asked automatically asked what tip I would like to add 20%, 18%, custom, no tip?
I know that all Improv’s always add the tip automatically, so why does the machine ask for you to tip again? I noticed that all the other tables around me didn’t ask to see the price breakdown and added a tip not knowing that the tip was already added. Of course no printout of the receipt was offered to anyone because they may notice that they paid an additional tip.
I am sure that this is intentionally done so that the waitresses/waiters can get double tips.
This is not right! Most people trust that their bill is totaled correctly and just add a tip.
It good that they have gone paperless but I am disappointed that they are scamming unsuspected guests for extra tips.
Lookout and see if they try to scam you. If they do, write about it!
