点评：We spent the first five days of our trip with Sena from Kandy Trekking Tours, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. He picked us up from the airport and took us through Sigiriya, on to Kandy, guided us on an incredible trek through the Knuckles Mountain Range, and finally drove us to Ella.
The highlight of our trip was without a doubt the guided trek through Knuckles. Sena’s expertise and deep knowledge of the area were outstanding—we learned so much and experienced some truly breathtaking landscapes. The trek was thrilling, especially as it was only a few weeks after Cyclone Ditwah. We crossed landslides and rivers, climbed waterfalls, and trekked through dense jungle, spotting a snake and a lizard along the way. Sena also brought along a second guide, who was equally amazing and very supportive toward my girlfriend. We felt completely safe and well looked after throughout. Leech socks were provided (a must in Knuckles!), and they were quick to help remove leeches with spray whenever needed.
Sena was incredibly hospitable and gave us an authentic Sri Lankan experience, taking us to traditional local food spots and adding little sightseeing stops along the way. Nothing was ever a problem. We were also very impressed with how confidently he navigated the roads after the devastating cyclone—some routes to Ella had only reopened days earlier, and it was heartbreaking to see the damage caused by landslides and flooding.
The level of experience, care, and personal attention truly reflects the price point. We cannot recommend Kandy Trekking Tours highly enough for anyone looking for a personalised, unforgettable adventure in Sri Lanka.
