During our month long trip with Sameera, we circumnavigated the Isle of Sri Lanka. Sameera subtly organized the Hotels, Safaris and the assorted day trips we enjoyed.
Sameera is an excellent person, a compassionate professional guide. He is also a very conscientious individual, and his concern is expressed in his daily work/driving, and simply the way he treats every person that he meets. We always felt safe and comfortable during our travels with Sameera. We are both keen photographers, and Sameera was always accommodating whenever asked to stop for a picture.
A trip of this kind, without someone as knowledgeable as Sameera, would be very difficult to organize. He arranged the Blue Train, Temple visits, the Safaris, and Hotels, making our arrivals and check-ins seamless...Such a relief when traveling!
We started our tour in Columbo, then visited Sri Villas in Induruwa. Galle' was our next destination, where we were wowed by the culture and history, the Fort itself and the vast array of retail outlets and restaurants. During our trip, we discussed differing Hotels, Safaris etc. and Sameera was extremely valuable pointing us in the right direction. At each tour destination, Sameera always had the best guides waiting for us; and at tours end was ready to pick us up for the next adventure.
After Galle', we went on Safari, then drove north to Ella where we caught the Blue train to Nuwera Elia. Habanera was next with all the local historic wonders, Sigeria, Polunera, to name but a few. Finally we were dropped off at Columbo Airport, thrilled with the experience but sad to leave such a wondrous country so full of warm and hospitable people.
Sameera was a wonderful guide, driver, travel organizer and a really good person. We would highly recommend Sameera to anyone interested in traveling around Sri Lanka.
